Our Organization

CHAD Foundation stands as a transformative force for Uganda's most vulnerable communities. Based in Banda, Kampala, and operating throughout Uganda with particular focus on Eastern Region, CHAD Foundation represents a comprehensive approach to community development that addresses the multifaceted challenges facing underserved populations.

Our foundation operates on the fundamental principle that sustainable development requires integrated solutions spanning health, economic empowerment, education, environmental stewardship, and human rights advocacy.

Health and Wellbeing for All

To promote universal access to quality healthcare for underprivileged communities through essential health services, medical supplies, health education, public health awareness campaigns, and comprehensive public health and sanitation initiatives.

Economic Empowerment and Sustainable Livelihoods

To support economic development and equitable growth by promoting entrepreneurship, vocational skills training, financial inclusion through VSLAs and SACCOs, and empowering women, youth, and vulnerable groups toward self-sufficiency and poverty alleviation.

To foster sustainable development through educational programs, scholarships, vocational training, research and development, knowledge and skills development, information technology, smart technology, and innovation that equip individuals for personal and community growth.

Geographical Focus

CHAD Foundation is headquartered in Banda, Kampala, and operates primarily in Eastern Uganda, with particular concentration in Jinja and surrounding districts where needs are significant and our presence enables effective community engagement.

We maintain flexibility to expand to other regions based on needs assessment, partnership opportunities, and resource availability.

Eastern Uganda Focus

Primary operations in Jinja and surrounding districts

Organizational Structure

 

Board of Trustees

Provides governance, strategic oversight, policy approval, and fiduciary responsibility. Comprises diverse expertise in development, healthcare, law, business, and community leadership.

 

Executive Director

Kajoba Jamadah provides executive leadership, manages operations, ensures program quality, oversees staff, and maintains external relations.

 

Program Directors

Lead each of the five flagship programs ensuring quality implementation and results achievement.

 

Field Teams

Community-based officers implementing programs, maintaining community relationships, and providing frontline services in Banda, Eastern Uganda, and beyond.

 

Finance and Administration

Ensures sound financial management, compliance, human resources, and operational systems.

 

Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning

Tracks performance, documents impact, generates evidence, and facilitates organizational learning.
